Introductions

Hello,

My name is E.B., I'm a high schooler from Maryland and this is my first ever blog post. As of right now I mostly write poetry but I am also working on a few longer stories, including a fantasy novel. I decided to start this blog as a way to expand for myself and to also build more of an audience.

I began writing in fourth grade but didn't start seriously writing poetry until I was sixteen when I took a writing course at my school. I started my Instagram page, The Poet's Path, shortly after that. I try to write poems based off my own experiences and how I view the world, but some of my poems are completely made up or are from the perspective of a character. I also enjoy taking pictures which is why my account and website heavily feature my own photography.

Other than writing and pictures I enjoy listening to music, reading, and learning about history. I'm also involved in my school theatre. I love animals and have two pets, a cat and a dog. I've very excited to start this blog and develop my writing more.
